Ander Herrera states his prediction for Man United v Arsenal
Ander Herrera looks ahead to Manchester United's Premier League clash with Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday
Ander Herrera is convinced that Manchester United have what it takes to beat Arsenal and reignite their hopes of securing a top-four finish in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Red Devils head into the game looking to build on their recent back to back victories over Shrewsbury Town and FC Midtjylland.
Arsenal were 3-0 winners when the two sides last met at Emirates Stadium back in October.
The Gunners are looking to keep their Premier League title bid on track, with Arsene Wenger’s men currently third in the table and five points behind leaders Leicester after the Foxes’ 1-0 win over Norwich on Saturday.
Herrera is expecting an entertaining game at Old Trafford but is determined to help Louis van Gaal’s men claim victory.
Herrera told MUTV: “We’ll try to beat one of the best teams in the Premier League and we are playing at home so I think we want to play as soon as possible.
“Both teams want to win and play the ball along the floor. We have to respect them because they have some of the best players in the Premier League but I think we have quality also.
“We have to be realistic as it’s not so easy to be six points behind fourth place in the table but we are Manchester United, this is the Premier League and anything can happen. If we beat Arsenal, we will be closer.”
