Mathieu Flamini sends a good-luck message to Mathieu Debuchy after his Arsenal exit on loan

Mathieu Flamini has taken to social media to wish Mathieu Debuchy good luck after the defender joined Bordeaux on loan from Arsenal until the end of the season on transfer deadline day.

The France international’s future had been a relentless source of speculation in recent weeks after he fell behind Hector Bellerin in the pecking order at Emirates Stadium.

Debuchy finally secured a move away from the north London club in a bid to gain regular first-team football in the build-up to this summer’s European championships in France.

And Flamini was quick to wish his compatriot good luck after the transfer was confirmed on Monday.

Flamini posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote:

Flamini and his Arsenal team-mates are preparing for their Premier League clash with Southampton at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.
