Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to reveal his excitement ahead of Arsenal’s crunch Premier League showdown with Leicester City at Emirates Stadium next Sunday.

The Germany playmaker was in good form as he helped Arsenal return to winning ways in the top flight thanks to a 2-0 victory at Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.

Arsenal took the lead in the 23rd minute against the Cherries when Ozil blasted into the roof of the net from close range after the ball fell to him in the box.

And Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain doubled the advantage for the visitors just a minute later, when he drilled a shot low into the bottom-left corner after being found by Aaron Ramsey.

The result left Arsenal five points behind leaders Leicester City heading into next weekend’s showdown at The Emirates.

And Ozil is clearly looking forward to that game.

The German posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Just in time back to winning ways and back in business!

“I’m already burning to face Leicester City next Sunday, guys!!! #BeTheDifference #YaGunnersYa #AFCBvAFC #bpl @arsenal.”
