Mesut Ozil reveals ambitious Arsenal targets for this season

Mesut Ozil is aiming high this season...

Mesut Ozil says that he and his Arsenal team-mates are still harbouring ambitions of winning an historic treble trophy haul this season.

The north London side are currently gearing up for their Premier League trip to Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon as they look to return to winning ways in the top flight after the disappointment of their goalless draw with Southampton last week.

Arsenal face a tricky Champions League last 16 clash with Barcelona later this month and will also host Hull City in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

However, the Germany playmaker is confident that Arsenal have what it takes to challenge on all fronts this season.

Ozil told Sky Sports: “We want to win the title. And not just the Premier League. We are still in the FA Cup and still in the Champions League.

“Against Barcelona, it will be difficult, but in football anything is possible.”

Arsenal can move up to third place in the Premier League table with victory over Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon and level on points with bitter local rivals Tottenham.

A victory would leave them five points behind leaders Leicester heading into the final 13 games of the season.
