Philippe Coutinho is back in training with Liverpool

Philippe Coutinho has taken to social media to reveal his delight at returning to training with Liverpool this week.

The Brazilian playmaker has been out of action due to a hamstring injury picked up during the 1-0 League Cup win over Stoke City at the start of January.

However, manager Jurgen Klopp revealed that the midfielder is closing in on a return to action on Friday afternoon.

And the attacker is clearly thrilled to be back training with his team-mates, if his latest post on Instagram is anything to go by.

Coutinho shared the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Friday night and wrote: “Very happy to be back.”

Liverpool are preparing to host Sunderland in the Premier League at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
