Piers Morgan reacts on Twitter to Aaron Ramsey’s display in Arsenal v Southampton

Piers Morgan was less than impressed by Aaron Ramsey's performance during Arsenal's draw with Southampton

Piers Morgan has taken to social media to voice his discontent at Aaron Ramsey’s performance during Arsenal’s goalless draw with Southampton on Tuesday night.

The Wales international started the game as the Gunners struggled to click into gear and break down the stubborn Saints at Emirates Stadium.

Celebrity Arsenal fan and club shareholder Morgan has been one of Ramsey’s loudest critics in recent seasons.

And the former Daily Mirror editor was quick to criticise both Ramsey and striker Olivier Giroud for their first-half performances against the Saints in north London.

Morgan tweeted on Tuesday evening:

The 25-year-old Ramsey has been a regular fixture in the Arsenal first-team this season, scoring four goals and making two assists in 19 top-flight games for the Gunners. He also made four appearances in the Champions League group stage.

Morgan later added to his discontent after the final whistle.
