Piers Morgan: What hurts most with this Arsenal squad
Piers Morgan doesn't hold back in his assessment of Arsene Wenger's Arsenal squad
Piers Morgan has blasted the Arsenal squad for their lack of “fight, hunger, desire and insane will to win”.
The Gunners suffered a big setback in their pursuit of a first Premier League title since 2004 on Sunday afternoon after a 3-2 loss to Manchester United.
The Gunners prepared for the Old Trafford clash knowing that only three points would suffice after Leicester City secured a dramatic 1-0 win against Norwich City on Saturday.
However, Marcus Rashford’s brace and Ander Herrera’s goal secured a win for the hosts despite Danny Welbeck and Mesut Ozil finding the net at Old Trafford.
Outspoken Arsenal supporter Morgan was fuming with Wenger’s side after another disappointing result in what has been a frustrating eight days for the north London side.
It's the lack of fight, hunger, desire & insane will to win.
That's what hurts with this Arsenal squad.
And that failing comes from the top.— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) February 28, 2016
Arsenal began an important week with a 0-0 draw with Championship side Hull City at the Emirates Stadium.
