Stat shows Tottenham’s Dele Alli has already topped Arsenal star

Dele Alli has now scored more Premier League goals this season than Jack Wilshere has in his whole career

The in-form Dele Alli netted the opener during Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League clash at Norwich City on Tuesday night.

The 19-year-old is being hailed as one of England’s most exciting young prospects after a stellar start to the season for the north London side.

Alli’s opener at Carrow Road took his tally for the season to seven in the Premier League.

Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere was regularly hailed as one of England’s most promising young stars but the midfielder is yet to feature for the Gunners this season due to injury.

And Alli’s latest goal will not make good reading for Arsenal fans, because it means that the Spurs youngster has now scored more Premier League goals this season than Wilshere has in his whole career (six).
