Wright, Parlour and more: Twitter reacts as Arsenal beat Bournemouth 2-0

Ian Wright and Ray Parlour both have their say after Arsenal beat Bournemouth 2-0 in the Premier League

Arsenal moved up to third place in the Premier League table thanks to a 2-0 victory over Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.

The north London side headed into the game having failed to score in their last three top-flight matches but put that unwanted stat to bed as they moved level on points with second-placed Tottenham.

Arsenal took the lead in the 23rd minute when Mesut Ozil blasted into the roof of the net from close range after the ball fell to him in the box.

And Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain doubled the advantage for the visitors just a minute later, when he drilled a shot low into the bottom-left corner after being found by Aaron Ramsey.

The north London side’s next game is a crunch clash against Premier League leaders Leicester at Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The game inevitably prompted plenty of activity on Twitter – and here are some of our favourite updates.
