Dietmar Hamann has taken to social media to heap praise on England’s Tottenham players after Harry Kane and Eric Dier both scored to fire the Three Lions to a 3-2 win over Germany in Saturday’s friendly clash.

Germany went in for half-time 2-0 up thanks to goals from Toni Kroos and Mario Gomez in Berlin.

However, Tottenham striker Kane pulled one back for the Three Lions with an excellent turn and shot after half-time, before Jamie Vardy’s neat flick made it 2-2 in the 74th minute.

And Spurs star Dier headed home the winner from a corner in the 91st minute to hand Roy Hodgson’s men a memorable 3-2 win.

Deli Alli missed a glorious chance to net the winner before Dier’s goal, and fellow Spurs man Danny Rose played the full 90 minutes.

And former Liverpool and Germany midfielder Hamann says he is not surprised to see Tottenham challenging for the Premier League title after their players’ performances on Saturday.
