Emre Can and Mamadou Sakho couldn’t disguise their delight in the Liverpool dressing room after Thursday night’s resounding 2-0 victory over Manchester United.

Jurgen Klopp’s side took control of the Europa League last-16 tie thanks to goals from Daniel Sturridge and Roberto Firmino in the first leg at Anfield.

Can and Sakho played important roles in Thursday night’s win as Liverpool and United met for the first time in Europe.

The Germany international didn’t appear to suffer any permanent damage after Marouane Fellaini appeared to elbow the Liverpool midfielder in added time on Merseyside.

And Sakho posted the above Snapchat selfie with the former Bayer Leverkusen midfielder after Thursday night’s memorable victory.
