Glenn Hoddle has highlighted Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the biggest threat to Chelsea’s progression to the Champions League quarter-finals.

The Sweden international broke the deadlock in the first leg in the French capital with a deflected free-kick last month.

John Obi Mikel equalised for the defending Premier League champions before Edinson Cavani scored a winner at Parc des Princes.

Ibrahimovic has scored 23 goals in 23 Ligue 1 appearances for Laurent Blanc’s side so far this season, whilst the Swedish captain has netted three times in seven Champions League games.

Former Chelsea manager Hoddle believes the Blues will need to keep a lid on Ibrahimovic to have any chance of overturning their 2-1 first-leg deficit.

“The big threat for Chelsea is Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He always is. What a wonderful player, he has got individual flair, you never know quite what you’re going to get from him,” Hoddle told Unibet.

“He can change the game in a blink of an eye. Wonderful talented player, and the bigger the game, the better he plays.”
