Harry Redknapp predicts where Tottenham will finish this season after Arsenal draw
Harry Redknapp assesses Tottenham's title chances after their 2-2 draw with Arsenal on Saturday
Harry Redknapp is still backing Tottenham to win the Premier League title this season after their 2-2 draw against 10-man Arsenal on Saturday afternoon.
Spurs missed the chance to move top of the Premier League table as they were held to a draw by the resilient Gunners at White Hart Lane.
The result left the north London side second in the table and three points ahead of third-placed Arsenal heading into the final nine games of the season.
And former Tottenham manager Redknapp feels that the Lilywhites have what it takes to win the league for the first time in 55 years this season.
Speaking on BT Sport after Saturday’s draw, Redknapp said: “I still think Tottenham [will win the league].
“It will be tight, it could go down to the last game, but I think Tottenham might just edge it.”
He continued: “Them and Leicester have been the most consistent teams – less defeats than everybody else.
“They’re a good side and I think they’ve got every chance. If they don’t win it this year, I think the opportunity will have gone.”
Arsenal took the lead in the 39th minute when Aaron Ramsey’s flick beat Hugo Lloris.
The Gunners were reduced to 10 men when Francis Coquelin was sent off for a second booking in the 55th minute.
Tottenham equalised moments later when Toby Alderweireld fired home, and Harry Kane’s superb strike in the 62nd minute handed the home side the lead.
However, Arsenal battle back and earned a point after Alexis Sanchez fired in.
