Liverpool fans troll Simon Mignolet over Philippe Coutinho comment
Liverpool supporters poke fun at error-prone Simon Mignolet on Twitter after his Philippe Coutinho comments
Liverpool supporters mercilessly trolled Simon Mignolet after the goalkeeper’s recent comments about Reds team-mate Philippe Coutinho.
The Brazilian midfielder secured Liverpool’s progress to the Europa League last eight after his brilliant lifted finish sealed a 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Coutinho scooped his finish over the diving David De Gea after the former Inter Milan playmaker had danced past United youngster Guillermo Varela.
Speaking to Liverpool Echo journalist James Pearce after the 1-1 draw, Mignolet revealed that Coutinho does the same to the Liverpool number one in training at Melwood.
Some Reds supporters on Twitter didn’t need a second invitation to poke fun at their error-prone first-choice goalkeeper.
@JamesPearceEcho Behave Simon! I'm an overweight 38 year old and I could do that to you in training ha ha!

@JamesPearceEcho this is brilliant. Good to know he's consistent in training too! 😂
