Lord Sugar sends Twitter message to Piers Morgan after Arsenal exit
Lord Sugar has his say after Arsenal are dumped out of the Champions League at the hands of Barcelona
Lord Sugar has taken to social media to offer his take on Arsenal’s Champions League exit at the hands of Barcelona on Wednesday night.
Arsene Wenger’s men were dumped out of the competition at the last 16 stage after a 5-1 aggregate defeat by the Catalan side.
Trailing 2-0 from the first leg in London last month, goals from Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar wrapped up a 3-1 win on the night at Camp Nou, with Mohamed Elneny netting his first goal for Arsenal.
The result leaves Arsenal with just the Premier League to play for, with Wenger’s side currently 11 points behind leaders Leicester heading into this weekend’s trip to Everton.
And former Tottenham Hotspur chairman Lord Sugar had his say on the game on Twitter as he sent a message to Arsenal fan Morgan.
Lord Sugar tweeted:
Great goal by Arsenal against Barcelona too little to late @piersmorgan

Suarez goal was better. The only mistake Wenger made was being too smart offering Liverpool £40,000,001 should have offered £60m @piersmorgan
