Man United scout £27m-rated teenager ahead of summer overhaul – report
Manchester United watched Ousmane Dembele in action for Rennes on Sunday, according to reports
Manchester United representatives were in the stands to watch wonderkid Ousmane Dembele in action for Rennes against Lyon on Sunday night, according to reports.
The Red Devils are widely expected to be one of the busiest clubs in the summer transfer window following a largely disappointing campaign under Louis van Gaal.
It remains to be seen whether Van Gaal will still be in charge at Old Trafford next term, but plans are already likely to be in place for the Red Devils in the transfer market as the summer window approaches.
Now, the Daily Mail is reporting that Manchester United representatives watched the 18-year-old Dembele in action for Rennes as they ponder a summer bid for the player.
Forward Dembele has scored nine goals for Rennes this season and is already attracting interest from the likes of Barcelona, according to the newspaper report.
Manchester United are currently preparing for the return leg of their Europa League tie with Liverpool at Old Trafford on Thursday.
