Matt Holland doesn't expect Tottenham Hotspur to slip up against Aston Villa on Sunday

Tottenham Hotspur won’t slip up against Aston Villa on Sunday despite their Europa League setback, according to Matt Holland.

The north London side suffered a resounding 3-0 loss to Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of their last-16 clash on Thursday night.

Mauricio Pochettino selected a weakened side for their trip to the German outfit, signalling his intention to prioritise the Premier League title race.

Former Ipswich Town midfielder Holland is confident Tottenham will expertly dispatch of the Premier League’s basement club, Villa, on Sunday afternoon.

Tottenham are in second place in the Premier League table and five points behind Claudio Ranieri’s leaders with nine games remaining in the title race.
