Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to reveal his excitement as Arsenal prepare for their crunch north London derby showdown with Tottenham on Saturday lunchtime.

The Gunners head into the game looking to return to winning ways after the disappointment of back to back defeats by Manchester United and Swansea City in the Premier League.

The north London side have faced plenty of criticism in recent days following their dip in form.

However, Ozil appears to be ready to help the Gunners prove their critics wrong as they prepare to tacking their bitter local rivals at White Hart Lane.

Ozil shared the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Friday night and wrote: “Tomorrow matchday!!! #BeTheDifference #ACE16 #NorthLondonDerby #THFCvAFC #COYG #BigMatch”

Arsenal head into the game knowing that a win would move them level on points with Spurs heading into the final nine games of the season.

A victory for Tottenham would move them six points clear of Arsenal.
