Mohamed Elneny has taken to social media to reveal his delight at helping Arsenal seal a 2-0 win at Everton on Saturday to keep them in the hunt for the Premier League title.

The Egypt international started alongside Francis Coquelin in midfield for Arsene Wenger’s men as they thoroughly outplayed the Toffees at Goodison Park to return to winning ways in the Premier League.

The result came as a welcome victory for Arsene Wenger’s men, who had only won one of their last eight games in all competitions heading into Saturday’s game.

And Elneny was thrilled to help the north London side claim victory on Merseyside on Saturday.

Elneny posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Saturday evening and wrote: “Thanks allah. Important win from a hard opponent, we will keep it up till the end of the season well done guys.”

Arsenal are now not in action until their home Premier League clash against Watford after the international break on Saturday 2 April.
