Paul Ince has his say on Manchester United's recent results ahead of their FA Cup quarter-final
Paul Ince says the Manchester United players don’t look bothered.
The Red Devils were heavily criticised after Thursday night’s 2-0 loss to Liverpool in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 clash at Anfield.
Louis van Gaal is coming under increasing pressure at Old Trafford amid reports former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho could succeed the Dutchman in the United hot seat at the end of the season.
The Red Devils are in sixth place and four points behind Manchester City, who occupy the final Champions League qualifying spot.
Speaking ahead of United’s FA Cup quarter-final against West Ham on Sunday afternoon, Ince questioned the commitment of the current United squad.
“When you look at when I played, it was all British players,” Ince said.
“We knew what it meant to face Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham. The players on Thursday didn’t look bothered.”
