Paul Pogba makes Chelsea contract demand – report
Paul Pogba would reportedly want wages of £300,000 a week to join Chelsea or Manchester City
Paul Pogba will demand a contract worth £300,000 a week to join Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to reports.
The Blues are expected to be one of the busiest Premier League clubs in the summer transfer window as they look to rebuild their squad after a disappointing season for the west London side.
Pogba has long been linked with a transfer back to the Premier League after developing into one of Europe’s best midfielders following his exit from Manchester United in 2012.
Manchester City and Chelsea have both been touted as potential destinations for the France international should he opt to leave Juventus in the summer.
And the Daily Star is now reporting that Pogba would only consider joining an English club if he were to be offered £300,000 a week in wages.
The same report says that Pogba’s huge proposed wages could be funded by the new Premier League television rights deal, with the champions taking home more than £150m in revenue from next season.
