Phil Jones reacts to Man United’s 1-0 win over Watford

Phil Jones was a happy man on Wednesday night...

Phil Jones has taken to social media to reveal his delight at seeing Manchester United notch up a 1-0 victory over Watford in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

The Red Devils headed into the game looking to build on their victory over Arsenal at the weekend and were frustrated for long spells by the Hornets at Old Trafford.

However, Juan Mata netted the winner in the 83rd minute from a free-kick to hand Louis van Gaal’s men all three points and wrap up their second straight win in the Premier League.

Jones is currently sidelined due to injury but that did not prevent him from celebrating Mata’s winner from the stands at Old Trafford.

The result left the Red Devils fifth in the Premier League and 10 points behind leaders Leicester heading into the final 10 games of the season.

Manchester United now turn their attentions towards their trip to West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
