Alexis Sanchez was in a reflective mood on Friday morning...
Alexis Sanchez has taken to social media to post a reflective message as he and his Arsenal team-mates prepare for their FA Cup clash with Watford at Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
The Chile international was an unused substitute as Arsene Wenger’s men wrapped up a 4-0 win over Hull to book their place in the last eight of the competition they have won for the last two seasons.
Sanchez will be expecting to feature when the Gunners host the Hornets at Emirates Stadium on Sunday looking for a win to book their place in a Wembley semi-final.
And the 27-year-old shared the picture above of himself with his two dogs on his personal Instagram account on Friday morning and wrote: “There is a beautiful legend that tells us that animals are voluntary souls, without the gift of words, who have come to show man the value of his actions, of solidarity, of acceptance, of freedom and the value of teamwork…. and the more important the love”
Arsenal are currently third in the Premier League table after their 2-2 draw with Tottenham at White Hart Lane this weekend.
The Gunners have not won the Premier League title since the 2003-04 season.
