David De Gea is looking forward to Manchester United's trip to Liverpool in the Europa League on Thursday night

David De Gea has taken to social media to reveal his excitement ahead of Manchester United’s crunch Europa League clash with Liverpool at Anfield on Thursday night.

The Red Devils head to Merseyside for their first ever meeting with Liverpool in European competition looking to return to winning ways after the disappointment of their 1-0 defeat by West Brom at The Hawthorns on Sunday.

Spain international De Gea will be hoping to keep a clean sheet as the Red Devils look to head into next week’s last 16 return leg at Old Trafford with an advantage.

And the Manchester United goalkeeper is clearly looking forward to the clash.

De Gea shared the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Wednesday afternoon and wrote: “Ready for a big game! @EuropaLeague #mufc #EuropaLeague”
