Manchester United defender Luke Shaw is eating clean ahead of his reported return in May
Luke Shaw is staying in shape thanks to a healthy diet as the Manchester United defender works on his rehabilitation from a broken leg.
The England defender is targeting a return to first-team action before the end of a disappointing 2015/16 campaign for the Red Devils.
Shaw impressed in his opening games of the season before the former Southampton defender broke his leg during United’s 2-1 loss to PSV Einhoven in the Champions League in September.
The United full-back was thought to be ruled out for the rest of the season but England manager Roy Hodgson has hinted Shaw could return to competitive action in May.
And the 20-year-old is doing everything possible to stay in as good as shape as possible, revealing his healthy diet on Monday afternoon.
Shaw posted the above photo and wrote on his Instagram page: “Keeping the snacks healthy #EATCLEAN”
The England defender moved to United in a £27m deal from Southampton in 2014.
