Bastian Schweinsteiger has taken to social media to offer his sympathy to all of those affected by the recent terror attacks.

A series of coordinated attacks in Brussels left 34 people dead on Tuesday after a spate of bombings in Turkey in recent weeks.

Schweinsteiger used his personal Instagram account to offer his sympathy to the victims and their families as he issued a message of support on social media.

The Germany midfielder posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Yesterday’s attack in Belgium was one of many attacks worldwide in recent weeks and months. My sincerest condolences to all the victims, their families and everyone affected by this terrible tragedies. #PrayForTheWorld”

Schweinsteiger missed Germany training on Wednesday after suffering a knee injury, which makes him a doubt for this weekend’s friendly clash against England in Berlin.

The World Cup winner has only just returned to action from a knee injury for Manchester United.
