Man United starlet Will Keane is determined to make a swift return to competitive action for the Red Devils
Will Keane has provided Manchester United supporters with an update on his injury ahead of the visit of Liverpool on Thursday night.
The Red Devils youngster suffered a groin injury during their 3-0 victory over Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup fifth round last month.
Keane’s fitness setbacks comes a blow for the 23-year-old given Louis van Gaal’s willingness to place his faith in the younger members of his squad so far this season.
With no set date for the striker’s return from his groin problem, Keane took to social media to underline his determination to make a swift recovery.
Keane wrote on his Instagram page: “Work in progress to get back where I want to be #mufc 🔴💪🏻⚽️”
Keane incurred the groin problem in just his second appearance of the season for Van Gaal’s side.
