Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini sets his sights on a return to Wembley
Mathieu Flamini has his sights set on a return to Wembley ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup quarter-final against Watford.
The Gunners booked their place in the last eight after a 4-0 victory over Hull City at KC Stadium in their FA Cup fifth-round replay on Tuesday night.
Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott both scored twice as Arsenal kept their hopes of a third successive FA Cup win alive.
Arsenal midfielder Flamini posted the above photo on Instagram and expressed his delight to reach the next round of the FA Cup.
Flamini wrote: “Great result and performance! Next up the quarter finals; one step closer to Wembley. 💪🏽💪🏽#arsenal #gunners #FAcup”
Arsenal host their Premier League rivals at the Emirates Stadium in the FA Cup sixth round at 15:00 GMT on Saturday 12 March.
The Gunners make the trip to La Liga giants Barcelona for the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie next week.
