Morgan Schneiderlin has taken to social media to wish Daley Blind a happy birthday after the Netherlands international turned 26 on Wednesday.

Blind and his Manchester United team-mates are currently beginning their final preparations for their crunch Europa League clash with Liverpool at Anfield on Thursday night.

The Red Devils are set to undergo their final training session on Wednesday morning as they prepare for their showdown on Merseyside.

And Schneiderlin was quick to send a birthday message to Blind via his personal Instagram account on Wednesday morning.

The France international posted the picture above on the app and wrote: “Wishing happy birthday to @blinddaley! See you in training, mate :)”

United, who head into the game after their 1-0 loss to West Brom on Sunday, have won their last four Premier League fixtures against Liverpool since a humiliating 3-0 home defeat in March 2014.

Liverpool, who beat Crystal Palace 2-1 on Sunday, are unbeaten in eight European games this season, and have not lost in six Uefa home matches.
