Mousa Dembele and Erik Lamela train with their Tottenahm team-mates ahead of Dortmund clash on Thursday night

Mousa Dembele and Erik Lamela were put through their paces on Monday afternoon as Tottenham Hotspur trained ahead of Thursday’s trip to Borussia Dortmund.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side secured a point in Saturday’s north London derby after a 2-2 draw with bitter rivals Arsenal at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham switch their focus from the Premier League title race to the Europa League this week as Spurs get ready to face Bundesliga giants Dortmund.

Spurs were 4-1 aggregate winners against Serie A side Fiorentina in the last 32 in pursuit of their first Europa League trophy.

Dembele, Lamela and Hugo Lloris all trained with their team-mates as the Tottenham squad looked to recover from Saturday’s hectic north London derby.

Tottenham are in second place in the Premier League table and five points behind leaders Leicester City.

Spurs make the trip to Premier League strugglers Aston Villa in their next top-flight fixture on Sunday afternoon.
