Piers Morgan questions Arsenal supporters still backing Arsene Wenger
Piers Morgan criticises his fellow Arsenal supporters
Piers Morgan has questioned how some Arsenal supporters can still be backing Arsene Wenger to continue as their manager.
The Gunners limped out of the FA Cup at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon after a 2-1 loss to Watford.
Arsenal are 11 points behind leaders Leicester City after the Foxes were 1-0 winners against Newcastle United at King Power Stadium on Monday night.
Wenger’s side travel to Barcelona on Wednesday night as the north Londoners look to overturn a 2-0 first-leg deficit against the holders at Camp Nou.
Outspoken Arsenal supporters Morgan slammed his fellow fans who are still supporting Wenger despite the club’s miserable run of form in 2016 so far.
Astonishing to me that any Arsenal fan actually wants Wenger to continue.
What are you all scared of – winning a major trophy again? #afc

Arsenal will hope to avoid suffering a hat-trick of defeats against Barcelona who beat them previously in two-legged ties in the Champions League in 2010 and 2011.
The Gunners, however, have a mountain to climb after Lionel Messi’s late double in the first leg gave Barcelona a 2-0 victory in north London – the fourth year in a row Arsenal have lost at home in the round of 16 first leg.
