Piers Morgan reacts to Aaron Ramsey’s display in Tottenham v Arsenal
Piers Morgan criticises Aaron Ramsey after Arsenal's 2-2 draw at Tottenham on Saturday
Piers Morgan has taken to social media to criticise Aaron Ramsey, despite the midfielder scoring Arsenal’s opener in Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham on Saturday afternoon.
The Wales international brilliantly flicked Hector Bellerin’s cross into the net to give Arsenal the lead at White Hart Lane in the 39th minute.
Arsenal were reduced to 10 men when Francis Coquelin was shown a second yellow card in the 55th minute, and Toby Alderweireld equalised for Spurs minutes later.
Harry Kane’s superb strike then put Tottenham ahead, but Arsenal battled hard and earned a point after Alexis Sanchez finished from Bellerin’s through-ball.
Morgan accepted that Ramsey’s goal was a stoke of brilliance, but still criticised the midfielder for his display.
Morgan tweeted:
Ramsey had one moment of genius, 100 moments of hopelessness. He can't run our midfield. #afc

The result left Spurs second in the Premier League table and three points behind Leicester – who play Watford later on Saturday – while Arsenal are third and remain three points behind their bitter local rivals.
