Piers Morgan has slammed Arsene Wenger after the Arsenal manager’s latest “excuses”.

The Gunners manager claimed that the negativity from Arsenal supporters could affect his players’s performance on the pitch in their final nine Premier League games of the season.

The FA Cup holders played out a thrilling 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in Saturday’s north London derby at White Hart Lane.

Arsenal are in third place in the Premier League table and eight points behind leaders Leicester City.

Outspoken Arsenal fan Morgan was impressed with Wenger’s latest media conference on Monday.

The Gunners took a first-half lead after Aaron Ramsey’s finished from close range before French midfielder Francis Coquelin was sent off early in the second half.

Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld levelled against 10-man Arsenal five minutes after Coquelin’s dismissal before Harry Kane handed Tottenham a 2-1 lead two minutes later.
