Ray Parlour: Jurgen Klopp already targeting four huge Liverpool signings
Ray Parlour believes Jurgen Klopp shouldn't be judged until after the Liverpool manager's signings in the summer
Ray Parlour believes Jurgen Klopp is already trying to land three or four big names for Liverpool ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Reds signed Queens Park Rangers defender Steven Caulker on loan until the end of the season and agreed a deal with Red Star Belgrade teenager Marko Grujic in an otherwise quiet January transfer window.
Liverpool didn’t land any world-class signings despite being linked with high-profile names like Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski and Borussia Dortmund forward Marcos Reus.
But former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour reckons the Liverpool manager will already be working on potential signings to significantly improve his squad in the summer.
“I’m sure he has targeted three or four big players already for next season,” Parlour told Alan Brazil’s Up Front podcast.
“It’ll be interesting to see what players he brings in. He just needs a good start.”
Liverpool were 3-0 winners against Manchester City in the Premier League at Anfield on Wednesday night courtesy of goals from Adam Lallana, James Milner and Roberto Firmino.
