Thierry Henry was thrilled by Alex Iwobi's performance for Arsenal at Everton
Thierry Henry has taken to social media to heap praise on Alex Iwobi after the teenager scored his first Premier League goal for Arsenal in Saturday’s 2-0 win at Everton.
The 19-year-old, who impressed during Arsenal’s Champions League clash at Barcelona last week, was handed his first full Premier League debut by Arsene Wenger at Goodison Park on Saturday.
Iwobi more than held his own during the game and netted Arsenal’s second goal on Merseyside with a cool finish after Danny Welbeck’s opener agains the Toffees.
And Henry was full of praise for the Arsenal youngster after his recent impressive displays in the Gunners’ first team.

Arsenal’s win over Everton left Wenger’s men in third place in the Premier League table and 11 points behind leaders Leicester City, who have played one game more than the Gunners.
