Glenn Hoddle believes that Tottenham will win Saturday’s crunch north London derby clash with Arsenal – if Spurs score first.

The Lilywhites head into their clash with their bitter local rivals knowing that a win would move them six points clear of Arsenal heading into the final nine games of the season.

Tottenham have earned plenty of new admirers for their impressive form in recent weeks and are just three points behind top spot heading into Saturday’s round of fixtures.

And former Spurs boss Hoddle believes that the north London side will take their chance to move top of the Premier League table ahead of Leicester’s trip to Watford later on Saturday.

Hoddle tweeted on Saturday morning:

Spurs are looking to return to winning ways after they were beaten by West Ham United on Wednesday night.
