Michael Owen states his prediction for West Brom v Man United
Michael Owen looks ahead to Manchester United's Premier League trip to West Bromwich Albion on Sunday
Michael Owen is causing West Bromwich Albion to cause an upset and get a positive result against Manchester United in Sunday’s Premier League clash.
The Red Devils have enjoyed something of a resurgence in recent weeks to ease the pressure on Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford.
United followed up their impressive 3-2 win over Arsenal last weekend by beating Watford 1-0 thanks to Juan Mata’s free-kick on Wednesday night.
That result moved United level on points with fourth-placed Manchester City heading into the final 10 games of the season, although the Sky Blues do have a game in hand on their rivals.
However, former United and Liverpool striker Owen feels that Van Gaal’s men could struggle against the Baggies at The Hawthorns this weekend.
Writing in his column for Bet Victor, Owen said: “United just got over the line against Watford midweek but should be applauded given how many injuries they have had of late.
“United are unbeaten in nine Premier League games at the Hawthorns but if there is to be a winner on Saturday I think the Baggies might shade it.”
