Antonio Conte reportedly paid a surprise visit to Chelsea’s Cobham training ground on Tuesday and will hold a series of meetings with the club’s players after being appointed as manager.

The Italian is set to take over from Guus Hiddink as the west London club’s new first team head coach in the summer after signing a three-year contract at Stamford Bridge on Monday.

According to the Daily Mail, Conte visited Chelsea’s Cobham training base on Tuesday and is planning to hold talks with a number of key players in the coming days.

Among them is thought to be Hazard, who has been heavily linked with a transfer away from Stamford Bridge this summer, with Real Madrid touted as a possible destination for the playmaker.
