Five key areas where Liverpool have improved under Jurgen Klopp
Oulala's stats show Liverpool are making giant strides under Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool are on the brink of their second cup final under Jurgen Klopp ahead of the first leg of their Europa League semi-final against Villarreal on Thursday night.
The Reds will make the trip to the Spanish side fresh from a six-game unbeaten run in all competitions, which has seen the Merseyside outfit score 16 times in their last five outings.
The Oulala infographic above highlights just where Klopp has managed to improve the Reds side in 2016 after the former Borussia Dortmund manager was appointed as Brendan Rodgers’s successor in October.
Liverpool have scored 36 times in 15 Premier League games in 2016, which is a vast improvement on their return of 22 times in 19 top-flight games between August and December.
Unsurprisingly, the Reds have a much-improved conversion rate of 14 per cent from seven per cent last year, which is in line with an upturn in their shot accuracy from 45 per cent to 52 per cent.
The 18-time English champions are averaging 18 shots per game, a stat which is no doubt helped by their 39 attempts against Everton in last week’s 4-0 victory in the 226th Merseyside derby.
