Jamie Carragher has taken to social media to give a glimpse into the post-match celebrations at Anfield after Liverpool’s epic 4-3 fightback win over Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League on Thursday night.

After a 1-1 draw in last week’s quarter-final first leg in Germany, the Bundesliga side went 2-0 up within nine minutes thanks to goals from Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Divock Origi pulled a goal back for the Reds after half-time but Marco Reus slotted home to make it 4-2 on aggregate.

But Philippe Coutinho and Mamadou Sakho goals gave the home side hope and defender Dejan Lovren was the hero when he headed home late on to secure a stunning comeback on Merseyside.

Former Liverpool defender Carragher was at the game and posted the video above on his personal Instagram account.

He simply wrote: “Scenes!!!!”
