Spurs have been in fine form in the top flight this season and head into this weekend’s game in second place in the table and five points behind leaders Leicester.

The Lilywhites will be keen to beat Liverpool to put the pressure on Leicester, who host Southampton at the King Power Stadium on Sunday.

Liverpool, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back from the disappointment of their 3-2 loss to Southampton before the international break.

And Liverpool legend Barnes is expecting the two sides to share the spoils at Anfield this weekend.

Writing in his column for Titan Bet, Barnes said: “Spurs will be going for this as they look to close the gap on Leicester at the top of the table, but Liverpool are just as good as their opponents, even if the table doesn’t say so.

“Goalscorers – Daniel Sturridge and Harry Kane.”
