Andy Cole reacts on Twitter as Man United appoint Jose Mourinho

Andy Cole delivers verdict on Twitter after Jose Mourinho signs Manchester United contract

Andy Cole took to Twitter to welcome Jose Mourinho to Manchester United after the manager succeeded Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford.

The 20-time English champions have reportedly completed a deal to appoint Mourinho as their third manager since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013.

Van Gaal led the 20-time English champions to the FA Cup trophy in Wembley last weekend after a 2-1 extra-time victory over Crystal Palace.

Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea in December after a disastrous start to the defence of their Premier League crown following nine defeats in their opening three months.

However, Sky Sports are reporting that Mourinho has signed a contract with the Premier League’s most-successful club.

Former United striker Cole tweeted his thoughts on Mourinho’s arrival ahead of the club’s official confirmation.

United haven’t won the Premier League title since 2013.
