Andy Cole reacts on Twitter to Man United’s 3-1 win over Bournemouth

Andy Cole singles out one Manchester United player for special praise

Andy Cole heaped praise on Marcus Rashford after Manchester United ended their Premier League season with a 3-1 victory over Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.

The Red Devils broke the deadlock two minutes before half-time in their rescheduled clash after Sunday’s bomb-scare thanks to United captain Wayne Rooney’s close-range finish.

Rashford, who was included in Roy Hodgson’s 26-man preliminary squad for England’s Euro 2016 campaign in France, scored his fifth goal in 11 Premier League game with 16 minutes remaining.

United winger Ashley Young added a third before the hosts before Chris Smalling’s own goal denied David De Gea a 15th Premier League clean sheet of the 2015/16 season.

Former Red Devils striker Cole singled out Rashford for special praise after the teenager’s role in Rooney’s goal and his eighth in all competitions for the 20-time English champions.
