Arsenal ready to bid for Inter Milan defender – report

Arsenal are reportedly keen on making a bid to sign Jeison Murillo from Inter Milan this summer

Arsenal are ready to table a bid to bring Jeison Murillo to The Emirates in the summer transfer window, according to reports in Italy.

The north London side are believed to be on the lookout for defensive reinforcements as Arsene Wenger bids to bolster his rearguard options ahead of next season.

Wenger has already moved quickly to bring midfielder Granit Xhaka to the club as he looks to build a team capable of winning the Premier League next season.

Now, Gazzetta dello Sport is claiming that Arsenal are interested in bring Inter Milan centre-half Murillo to the Premier League this summer.

The same report goes on to say that the player has also attracted interest from Leicester City in recent months.

The 24-year-old has only been at the San Siro for a year after moving to the club from Spanish side Granada.
