Arsenal suffer blow after £60m striker spotted at Real Madrid final
Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is spotted at Champions League final
Arsenal look set to miss out on Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after the Gabon star was spotted at the Champions League final on Saturday night.
The Dortmund man has been heavily linked with a move away from the Bundesliga club in recent months amid reported interest from Premier League giants Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.
Aubameyang scored 25 times in 29 Bundesliga games for Dortmund in the 2015/16 season to underline his growing reputation as one of Europe’s deadliest finishers.
The Gabon international was linked with Arsenal over the weekend after Gunners officials were reported to be in Dortmund ahead of finalising a deal.
However, a photo has emerged of Aubameyang watching Madrid beating Atletico Madrid on penalties in the Champions League final, promoting the suggestion that the striker is on the brink of a switch to Los Blancos.
