Arsenal to make second signing with £20m defender deal – report

Arsenal are ready to make a £20m bid to land Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli this summer, say reports

Arsenal are ready to make Kalidou Koulibaly their second summer signing in a £20m deal, according to reports.

The north London side have wasted no time in getting down to business in the summer transfer window after securing the signing of Granit Xhaka on Wednesday.

The Gunners are tipped to be one of the busiest clubs in the summer transfer window as Arsene Wenger looks to build a squad capable of winning the Premier League title next season.

Now, The Telegraph is reporting that Arsenal have identified 24-year-old Napoli defender Koulibaly as a top transfer target this summer and are confident of securing a deal for the player.

Chelsea have also been linked with a move for the defender but the same report says that Wenger is keen to bring the player to The Emirates to partner Laurent Koscielny in the heart of the Gunners’ defence.
