Andy Gray states prediction for Arsenal v Aston Villa
Andy Gray delivers his verdict on Arsenal's home clash against Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon
Andy Gray says Arsenal are the biggest bankers this weekend ahead of their home clash against Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners drew 2-2 with top-four rivals Manchester City last weekend hours before Tottenham Hotspur lost 2-1 to Southampton at White Hart Lane.
Arsene Wenger’s side still have an outside chance of finishing in the runners-up spot if Spurs should slip up against Rafael Benitez’s Newcastle United.
Former Everton and Villa forward Gray can’t see anything but a comfortable win for the Gunners against the Premier League’s worst side this season.
“An absolute home banker this one. I can’t see anything other than a very comfortable home win for Arsenal,” Gray told Paddy Power.
Arsenal have endured a disappointing season after their Premier League title bid petered away earlier this year after defeats by Southampton, Manchester United and Swansea City.
The Gunners also made premature exits in the Champions League and the FA Cup as Arsenal prepare to end the season without any silverware for the first time in three years.
