Bayern Munich man wants summer Liverpool transfer – report

Pierre Hojbjerg wants to secure a transfer to Liverpool this summer, according to reports

Bayern Munich midfielder Pierre Hojbjerg wants to secure a transfer to Liverpool this summer to work under Jurgen Klopp, according to reports.

Klopp is believed to be on the lookout for a number of new players over the summer as he prepares for his first full season in charge at Anfield.

The 20-year-old Hojbjerg has spent the last two seasons on loan away from Bayern at Schalke and Augsburg.

Now, the Daily Star is reporting that the player is keen to secure a move to Anfield this summer as Klopp looks to bolster his midfield options on Merseyside.

The same report goes on to say that Klopp feels that he has missed out on the chance to sign Mario Gotze this summer.

Klopp was appointed as Liverpool’s new manager back in October 2015 after the Merseyside outfit opted to sack Brendan Rodgers.
