Chelsea agree three-year deal with £8.3m Juventus man – report

Chelsea are closing in on a deal to sign Stephan Lichtsteiner from Juventus this summer, say reports

Chelsea have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Stephan Lichtsteiner from Juventus this summer as Antonio Conte looks to strengthen his new squad.

The incoming Blues boss is thought to have already outlined his list of transfer targets this summer as he bids to build a squad capable of challenging for the top honours next season.

Juventus defender Lichtsteiner has been touted as a target for the west London club as they look to shore up their back line.

Now, Italian football expert Emanuele Guilanelli has claimed that the Switzerland international held talks with Conte on Saturday and is willing to join the Stamford Bridge outfit.

However, the transfer – believed to be worth around £8.3m – may be dependant on Juventus securing the services of full-back Dani Alves from Barcelona.
