Chelsea, Man United receive transfer boost over £32m Bosnia midfielder – report

Roma may be forced to sell Chelsea and Manchester United target Miralem Pjanic, according to reports in Italy

Roma could be forced into the sale of Chelsea target Miralem Pjanic, according to reports in Italy.

The Bosnia-Herzegovina international has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months amid reported interest from Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United.

Pjanic is thought to have a contract release clause in the region of £32m, with Serie A champions Juventus and Bundesliga holders Bayern Munich also keen on the playmaker.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma may have to sell Pjanic to balance the books in line with Uefa’s Financial Fair Play sanctions.

Pjanic scored 10 goals and made 12 assists in 33 Serie A games for the Rome outfit in the 2015/16 season, attracting interest from a host of Europe’s top clubs.
